Bees and badgers

Two stories have concerned me this last week. Firstly, although I acknowledge they are not pets, the potential badger cull. Secondly the worrying decline in honey bees. Despite my invitation for reciprocal links with the badger people - it was declined rather snootily as "badgers aren't pets" - I still feel sorry for the beautiful beasts AND am not convinced that they are the sole cause of the Bovine TB. Trigger happy farmers may be happier to pull triggers first and ask questions later. Please feel free to badger me with your views (sorry).

The honey bees decline from what I gather could be related to pesticides which is terrifying especially as we will be ingesting those never mind the knock on effect of reduced pollination. These factors could be a "tipping point" of some sort. Please feel bee to comment (so sorry).
